I am absolutely disgusted by the extent that Parramatta went to cheat the cap and totally disgusted by the Parra board and their disgraceful fans.

What's all this about BA being a hero. As if he wasn't complicit in all of this. Our club gave this prick a lifeline when the eels booted him out and halfway through his contract he went straight back there and systematically attempted to destroy our club and our culture by signing our players on illegal massive over deals on the premise that he was trying to build a winning culture. Come with me he said and he offered the world.

I don't buy for one minute that BA didn't know about this. I mean we were all suspicious when we saw hoppa on 800k, Watmough on 900k and then they were signing Foran on 1.2 and beau Scott. They then let hoppa go saying they were over over the cap but signed Michael Jennings and throw in clint Gutherson as well. What a joke. Everyone could smell a rat. Of course BA knew what was going on.

This bloke BA is a fcuking fraud. He is paraded as a great leader and a mans man. What a load of Shyte. He brings Watmough over on an illegal contract and now will dump him quicker than anything - you watch.

He has assembled one of the most illegal teams in NRL history.

Foran should be absolutely furious about this. He has absolutely been taken for a ride by this BA. He has been totally manipulated as has Watmough.

Unfortunately for Watmough at BA's instruction and promises he has estranged himself from his junior club and now is so injured he can't play again and is seen by Parra fans as the reason they are over the cap and will dump him immediately. BA has ruined his legacy completely.

Not to mention the other players this BA bought from other clubs who now will possibly be cut or will play for no points this year.

What a disgrace and I refuse to believe that BA wasn't involved. Even if he didn't directly organise illegal TPA's he can count FFS. Of course he would have had an inkling what was going on.

He has absolutely betrayed Foran, Watmough and all his players.

Many of them may be happy to play for money and screw the points. Especially if being moved on leaves them significantly out of pocket.

It may not be simple for parra to just move them on.

If I signed in good faith and got moved on, and lost money, I'd take them to court.

Not legally trained, but have signed my share of contracts, and I believe they could. We have Burgess and Mateo as cases in point.

They wont lose money because Parra would have to fund any difference, but they could say I'm staying.

Wrong I'm afraid. On NRL360 the players just confirmed they are paid November to October. That means that 7/12ths has already been counted in the cap. So they need to cut $570,000 from 5 months of payments. That means they need to lose players with a contract value of $1,368,000 to get to $570,000. In other words 5/12ths of $1,368,000 = $570,000.

Why are the squeels not playing for nothing?

4 seasons of systematic cheating, players getting paper bags, dodgy board members who STILL won't accept any blame.... Yet they're still a mathematical chance this year, and will probably be pretty strong next year.

Both Storm and Dogs fans should be blowing up DELUXE, as these guys have got a slap on the wrist when they should have been in the exact same place that their clubs were, when caught for similar offences.

What is the current salary as TPA's have been guaranteed & funded by the club. This is part of the players contracts. Good luck in trying to work it out.

If it was a team without many televised matches they'd get rubbed out for the year but there's still plenty of parra matches on the way so they have to still be in the comp for viewer ratings.

From what I understand, they can do exactly that - or Parramatta get sued for breach of contract.

This is why a whole lot of players are being paid by more than one club at a time - old club wants to move them on, new club won't pay the full amount, old club has to make up the difference or the player won't agree to release the club from their contractual obligations.

The storm penalty also looks worse, becuase unlike the bottom dwellers, the storm cheated their way to some minor premierships and 2 major premierships.

If it was manly, 'riff, gummies, faders, st merge, etc.. they would be playing for nothing.
