If it couldn't get any more dour for Parra, their next game is Friday 13th
How else could they help "save" the club...So the guys who were to be sacked took out an injunction only on their jobs? Not the fine, or the docking of points - just to keep their jobs that no one wants them to keep..? FMD this lot is a disgrace.
The Media are conveniently ignoring the fact that the Parra Captain is in rehab, that the rest of the players do not have the winning culture that the Scumos had to continue to compete, and that the self interest of their Board will drag out the required player shedding required for them acrew pointsI'm really dissapointed it's not zero points for 2016.
You can blame Chan Nein for that !!
So if we say finish level with them on 28 points for example and we miss out on the finals due to for and against, would you be happy missing out to a team that was for part of the season deemed illegal? This is a potential minefield for the NRL.True, but I can see the logic of the ruling. They lose all the points they won with a team over the cap. And can only start getting more points IF they can shed players and get below the cap.

Sideshow Bob alias Matt KingYou know what bugs the sh*t out of me about that?
The dude with the big hair who's on Foxsports all the time (name escapes me, played for $ouffs as well), was talking about going through all this, and when questioned about how it felt having titles stripped just laughed and said "it doesn't matter, we know we won, they can't take that off us, still got the premiership tattoo and stuff har har har"....
Kinda makes my blood boil: you still take pride in winning a comp while cheating? Pull your stupid head in and your stupid white man Afro you peanut..

Wrong I'm afraid. On NRL360 the players just confirmed they are paid November to October. That means that 7/12ths has already been counted in the cap. So they need to cut $570,000 from 5 months of payments. That means they need to lose players with a contract value of $1,368,000 to get to $570,000. In other words 5/12ths of $1,368,000 = $570,000.So, if they get Watmough to retire, they'll be pretty much saved?
HOW WATMOUGH CAN SAVE EELS
THE retirement of Eels star Anthony Watmough could be the key to saving Parramatta’s season.
The club’s salary cap nightmare means it must release up to $570,000 from its books to be eligible for competition points.
The Daily Telegraph reports part of Watmough’s $700,000 salary could be written off the club’s salary cap for this season if his forced retirement from a debilitating ongoing knee injury is approved by the NRL.
“Any player that suffers a career-ending injury — as long as the salary cap auditor is satisfied that it’s genuine — with medical certificates — they can be remove from the cap,” Weeks said.

Retaining the for and against is the total joke part of this penalty. It's their life support so they can potentially win this season after cheating for the first nine weeks. How can the NRL not rationalise this?So if we say finish level with them on 28 points for example and we miss out on the finals due to for and against, would you be happy missing out to a team that was for part of the season deemed illegal? This is a potential minefield for the NRL.
