Got off lightly should not be able to secure any points this season as well as the fine etc.
Let's not forget we are at least 1/3rd of the way through the season so no matter who they cut 1/3rd will be in this years cap. What that effectively means is that to get inside the cap this year they will need to cut $750k of contracts to get the $500k off in the remaining 2/3rds of the season. It isn't going to be as easy as everyone says. For those that think Parra can just cut some players on 200k per season to free up space - can not happen, because what some are forgetting is that these players need to be replaced under the cap, and the minimum contract is, I believe, 85k. So, doing that once frees up 115k - they would need to shed 5 players of that ilk to get under the cap (and these players must come from their top 25 players). They are simply going to have to shed a big name or 2. And, like Melbourne, will get the benefit next year and ongoing of their rorting, as they have signed players they had no legal right to sign as they had no room under the cap, yet they will get to keep them.
I can see some players going to one of the few clubs that may have space - the NRL run Titans. No conflict of interest there of course though.
I'm not sure what's more lolworthy, Parra's financial cheating fail or Cronulla's systemic doping cheating fail. How bad are you going if you blatantly cheat and still can't win anything ? At least the Storm had something to show for their unethical efforts. The funniest thing of all is that they haven't made the finals since 2009. They can't even cheat properly lol.
I know thats fake because Steve Sharp isnt smart enough to spell like that.
Can't believe they are considering high court as an option, cop it on he chin you cheatsGreat News, Parra are in the Surpreme Court for an injunction. They are going to totally destroy their season.
Good thing that Foran left Manly's disfunctional BoardCan't believe they are considering high court as an option, cop it on he chin you cheats
NoIs it like the judiciary, can there penalty be increased at the appeal process?
The NRL sanction means that they are deregistered and can not work in their realm.Everytime I close my eyes I see Danny de Vito as the Eels lawyer.
If the members at Parra get 100 signatures and force an AGM, the board will be defending positions they no longer hold.
Are they expecting Parra to pay their legal fees?

If they lose their Board seats via the voting Members, they would need their own monies to go to court.
Parra Members should flick them ASAP and sue them for failing in their fiduciary duties

But they haven't failed in their douchery.
