And possibly resign ourselves to the fact that the quality available does not compare to the quality lost. That's what hurts most, it's all well and good having money. Orr knows exactly what we offered cherry, knows we may be interested in elegy (whom he also manages) you think he is not going to wring us for everything knowing how much money we got? Killer no longer has the pace and power to play in the centres imo. Five-eighth probably a better spot for him this late in his career.

Killer is lacking in attack no spark. defense is still strong. Put him 5/8 and Elgey at No.7

Lyon - first off, I want him to play in 2016, I just think he will retire at the end of this year. He is a legend, and my favourite player, so certainly no disrepect to him in any way, but there are not many 34yr old centres running around in the NRL. I think he'll call it a day.

Matai's inclusion on sat was what we needed. Dummy half running is our answer. We need someone to help ballin out when the going gets tough. Good halves won't do anything if we are constantly last tackle kicking from our own 40. Momentum is the key

Signing Maloney would be great, dunno if it will happen, and I still think Hodkinson would be a good bet as he knows the club players and played well at manly when he was here, got a good kicking game but still lacks key areas of his game

No but ikon and that reckon he'd be a fairly easy purchase, doesn't mean it,k happen but I mins got a point, say ' you'll be starting every week, we'll build the pack around you for the next few years' Im sure he'd be tempted, plus we got more then enough money, still not getting my hopes up though...

I appreciate everyone making suggestions, but players like james and klezmer are under lock and key, players like Thaiday are on their last legs and have been largely ineffectual for years.

I'd be mor eloping at players like Albert vete and Sam lisone from the Warriors, kade Snowden whose value has dropped, is off contract and has started the year awesome, junior vaivai.

Good cap management is about signing players who are on the cusp of the wave rather than wallowing in the shallows (close to retirement) or still getting dumped by the waves (too young or not good enough) and having them under contract when they peak and extending them once they are with the club rather than paying overs once everyone is aware of their talent.

I have extreme faith in Dave warwick, but I hope he is concentrating on 20-22 year old at the moment rather than 16-20 year olds.

Agree with Maloney. I think we are a chance. Maloney and one big name forward and we are golden.

Don't think we should sign any big name outside backs, between taufua hiku matai gutherson tom T we are stacked for a few years yet.

yeh but when he have 1.5m to spend, why wouldnt you go forcany proven gun forwards? such as klemmer james etc. i think it would be good to get some rising players and young forwards as well but we need first team specialists after losing 2 of our best players

Matai has signed his last contract already. I would be comfortable with the club blacklisting all players managed by him. Don't care who the player is. Would prefer the spoon than to deal with that no class c###!
