Hetherington is a 1000% improvement on Brbo, Waddell for starters!!!Kobe is not being signed as THE answer.
He is a bench/possible starter and will improve our 17.
He is not a marquee but nor has he be signed as one.
Also....love how reactionary people get after a game.
Point is that he is not an improvement… if the reports are true and his contract is “lucrative” then we are truly cooked as a club…Kobe is not being signed as THE answer.

I will give you Waddell, but are we really using that as a benchmark for where we want to be as a club?Hetherington is a 1000% improvement on Brbo, Waddell for starters!!!
Kinda comes across like you’d have many blank sheets of paper mate? Is there actually anyone you do consider a good fit for Manly 😂….Point is that he is not an improvement… if the reports are true and his contract is “lucrative” then we are truly cooked as a club…
And this is not a reaction to a single game, if you asked me to pick my top 5 forwards to sign from the broncos, Kobe would not be on my sheet of paper…
Agree that he's not being signed as the answer, but he was still poor in defence today. That's not reactionary, just an observation. I think he's a decent signing but he was still shown up today, regardless.Kobe is not being signed as THE answer.

We need a decent prop for a start… Tent is good but massively injury prone…Kinda comes across like you’d have many blank sheets of paper mate? Is there actually anyone you do consider a good fit for Manly 😂….

Fogarty coming for money only, Hetherington coming for the Mrs new job. Yeah not really encouraging reasons that they want to play at Manly.
I watched him closely , he had one bad miss , which did lead to a try , otherwise he went pretty well.Agree that he's not being signed as the answer, but he was still poor in defence today. Agree. Also made a try saver on Weekes in the 2nd half. He is a worker. Without Jake and Croker we need this.I watched him closely , he had one bad miss , which did lead to a try , otherwise he went pretty well.
So I think the “ poor in defence “ is better put “ one very bad defensive lapse”.
He had 4 missed tackles , but that was pretty average for all their forwards 3-5 being the average.
He was never signed as a superstar
Yeah, Classic example, Nate Myles. We are beginning to look like Gold Coast in Sydney.
The club where players come to retire for the $$ only or that no other club will sign them.
I thought today was the 15th of September not the 1st of AprilFrom FOX Sports…..
Manly Sea Eagles
We have all heard the talk about Manly being in salary cap strife, but with Daly Cherry-Evans leaving the club at the end of this year, and the Trbojevic brothers - Jake and Tom that is - set to take a pay cut if staying at the club at all for 2027 and beyond, there is suddenly money available.
The Sea Ealges have been rumoured to be interested in Haas before, but now could look at making a full scale tilt at the prop if things work out as expected on the salary cap front in the coming weeks.
The bottom line is, while Manly have Taniela Paseka to lead the engine room, there isn't a great deal else, and a player like Haas could shake the very foundations of the Sea Eagles.
Watch this space.
Also we have no idea what his "role" will be with us.I watched him closely , he had one bad miss , which did lead to a try , otherwise he went pretty well.
