Dce and Elgey might form a very attacking halves combo.

Elgy has hit some reasonable form at the end of this season. He orchestrated a great try against his new club🙂 and plenty of spark in the narrow loss to the cows. I think he'll be good.

I knew there was a reason I like your posts so much mate. As a fellow dog breeder and Manly fan, we have at least two things in common.

I "ll keep an open mind on Kane . Certainly an upgrade on Croker [ good kid though he is ] . Notice that Metcaffe seemed to be doing better in Jersey Flegg as this season progressed and does have unquestioned ability . Not the most preferred option on this site but there is still always Walker for the six role if the situation warrants it .

We've got Elgey for 2 years. This gives Metcalfe time to develop, so that if Elgey doesn't come up to scratch over two years. Metcalfe would be just about ready.

In the games I've watched of him, he is a good organiser and involves himself heavily. I like him but I wonder why they bought Metcalfe, unless they see those two as our future 5/8 and half...hmmmm

It’d be just like when Des left and Foz thought about following.

The only difference is Des and Foz were about the best coach and 6 at that time and Baz and Croker are just about the worst...
