Why does Jake give such gee up speeches pre-game and at halftime and then go on to give away stupid penalties off the play and in the ruck.

He gives away so many set restarts which negates the value of his passion.

When is he going to improve his leadership with better personal discipline in his game.

Couldn’t agree more. Love Jake T but he definitely gives more set restarts/pens than anyone else in the team. So frustrating for a senior player

I wrote this post after having flashbacks of the 2019 semi against Souths.
At least the next 3 tries which followed should keep me out of therapy!

Yeah it really bugs me. He just hangs on way too long, half of them seem deliberate. Maybe he is doing it to help others get the line set but I wish he'd cut the crap.

He does make the odd error with penalties but I would have 13 Jake's any day of the week. Again many of you would not realise all the off the ball mop up work he does - many times not impacting the tackle as he is filling someone's hole they have left or taking a run when everyone is stuffed. Bit like Igor back in the day - being penalised for rough and nasty play.... I would have had 13 Igor's as well.

I think he's been told to develop by working on slowing the game down. Only explanation I have
