I have been convinced for a while that it is out of the hasler playbook...Yeah it really bugs me. He just hangs on way too long, half of them seem deliberate. Maybe he is doing it to help others get the line set but I wish he'd cut the crap.
I may be wrong but it often seems deliberate and I remember Des going through his short dropout period at the dogs because he was confident that it is easier to defend your line from 10-15m out... Jake is just ensuring that the defence has enough time to get set...
The pullback was dumb but if he does not do it then Nof probs scores so I guess it was a risk that payed off...? Did also remind me of the Souffs semi tho...
