@Sue I agree with everything you are saying. Trent Barrett was signed as a rookie coach. He has the worst record, made poor decisions and signings. He wasn't up to the task. He's a dodo. I'm no apologist, but everything he has done / failed to achieve has been all under the watchful eye of the Penn leadership and administration. Throw in Cartwrong who offered sweet FA in terms of technical support. If there is no leadership / support/stability at the top how the fark could we ever have expected a dodo to take us to great heights.

Barrett in 2019 ! Oh dear

Let’s make Frank Winterstein club captain and make a real bird of it .

Although not alone in exuding incompetence at our club Trent Barrett has

1 A totally untenable relationship with CEO and owner and is threatening legal action
2 One of the worst records of any Manly coach in our history
3 Presided over some of the most embarrassing capitulations in this clubs proud history
4 Has implemented some of the most embarrassing game plans , selections and bench use in our history
5 Has presided over some of the most embarrassing press conferences in our history
6 Has left the club with a culture of excuses and indiscipline and a playing group who thinks more of the same is acceptable

Trent Barrett will never coach Manly again and I doubt will ever be senior coach in the NRL ever again.

Our club needs some strength at the reins, not the likeable yet weak minded and technically challenged Trent Barrett.

Let me see .... I am struggling to decide whether to take your opinion of Barrett .... or an Australian, SOO, club Captain, Premiership winning, Clive Churchill Meadalist with over 200 FG games opinion of Barrett .....

Goodbye Trent and hopefully whoever takes over can shake the complacency out of this team

The team needs a coach, a boss, a fuc$ing man who doesnt weep at a drop of a hat. Players have to respect a coach and to a certain extent fear him, matters not wether they think he’s a good bloke.
