Yes actually.

Not so much the way the whole team defends but there are changes to the decisions Des wants the outside backs to make...in particular centre and wing. Des noted the inexperience and has decided to create a system that makes things a little easier for them with more support coming from inside.

Given Schuster should be getting time in the NRL and we have Foz back, I can't see how Croker and Cust will fit in the same 17. I think Cust has shown way more at NRL level than Croker and would love to see him given a shot, but all indications are we'll be stuck with Croker.

But boy oh boy there’s going to be some pressure on him from the armchair coaches on here.

Thanks Snake - greatly appreciate the insight. We all could be wrong but gee while I think Foran will be good - Schuster is great - while Croker is serviceable at best Cust is tougher and just allround a better footballer. Poor start to the year from Des and I am a Des fan.

I hope he does return, not only for the benefit of the team, but because he is so good to watch - such a natural footballer! He & Turbo are my two favourite players in the current squad. Maybe Schuster will become a favourite also.

All good to you if you are a Croker fanboy , I’m not , I don’t think he’s first grade material and I’ll be surprised if they can make him into one !

This is not a personal attack I’m sure he’s a great bloke but he’s just not up there to be a regular first grader.

BUT some think differently.
