Absolutely hook is a victim of goulds narcissistic nature, he wouldn't listen to the all mighty gus so he can go, Barrett would be the perfect puppet for him and no doubt he has talked to him, Gus hates it when anyone questions him, it comes through in his tone when he commentators or appears on a footy show.

The one thing this does is take us out of the media spoltlight this week

I predicted this but we all know this anyway but our game has had probably 3 minutes air time tonight across all nrl shows on fox ...even in the papers nothing really
