Massive congrats to the Hayne plane. What a remarkable achievement to make an NFL roster is such a short time.
NOW what a massive fuk up once again by Greensht and Co. Here was the goose that could lay a golden egg for the NRL in America and what have they done in terms of support. They should have been all over him in endorsement, sponsorship etc in the off chance that he might have made it. Nowhere to be seen or heard in all this. This is without doubt the most incompetent out of touch bunch of self serving pig swill fukwits ever associated with this game. They will flog Hyde into an injury by game 5 (by which stage Reggie will already be on the IR) and Hayne will forced into starting RB duties just in time for when they play Seattle twice in a month, meaning that one month after Hayne get's the starting job he will be critically injured in a game.

He's first seen as a kick/punt returner. But his efforts as a running back aren't too shabby (yes, I know Loobs, against 2nd/3rd stringers). His average of 7 yards per carry and 4.8 yards after contact were the highest in the NFL in the preseason. And 175 rushing yards from his four games - the second best in the League.

Add that to his 163 yards as a punt returner - the third best of any player - playing for a team that Loobs' spambot reminds us is pathetic - and he couldn't have had a much better start to his new code.

Id be vary wary of pre season stats from NFL. Barely any decent players play or exert any effort. While his stats are good, you really need to see how he goes with games of consequence. Every year the leading pre season average guys are scrubs. No knock on Hayne it's just that it counts for very little over there.

I still think if he plays too many snaps at HB he'll eventually get hurt/concussed pretty quick because his natural tendency is to run upright. You can't do that up the middle.

Haynes new strength! I follow and study a lot of the top trainers in the world, and especially the NFL trainers. Compared to NRL athletes they are sooooo much stronger. Their strength and conditioning training is on another level. Hayne can now do the combined weight bench press (104kg) 22 times! In the NRl he did it only 4.
