Yep don't care if it's a trial but this game confirmed it, he is the number 9 we've patiently been waiting for and is going to lock that position for the next 10 years. I've been hyping him up since last year but this year is his year to break into FG. When he was on the field, he just dictated the pace of the game, he was so threatening with his runs and offloads, and he also has a decent kick in him as well. We've had to go through this long stabbing fainu saga and we've been rewarded for our toils with this asian saviour. Stick him at 14 with the 1/2 punch of him and Croker until he's more comfortable in FG and then he can take the reins as our starting full-time hooker. Gordon is the man we've been waiting for.

Everyone’s looking at a nickname for him, and you come up with "Asian saviour", and I don’t think you were going for that (a nickname) Regardless, I love it.

Outplaying his opposite number in Brandon smith is quite shocking even if it is a trial. His last 2 trials have been great he deserves a spot in the 17 for round 1. That guy might just be manly's ticket to the top 8 very impressive.

He needs to be in the 17 in Round 1. It would be silly to wait until around 10. He provides more zip than Croker and they would work well in Tandem. I’d start with Croker for 20 minutes and then bring on GCKT in each half.

Yep, reminds me so much of Api. Gordon had a great test against Brandon Smith and passed admirably. We've finally found Api's replacement.

As I’ve said on a other thread , I asked my last remaining insider ( used to have many ) and the answer was “ definitely top 30”.
