Would the muslims , jews athiests and gays in our team accept a cross on our jersey from the marketing team ?
Why wouldn't the gays accept a cross on the jersey Bozo?

It does not always appear that the purpose of posts are about learning from others in some cases it appears more like an activity that seeks to impose a view and knock out and occasionally straw man others …. In short ego driven no doubt you are most certainly not guilty of that? ….. honesty an interesting concept on a social media site…Your suspicion is unfounded. Sharing different points of view is the only way to learn something new. Provided of course it's done respectfully and honestly.
So you are saying that all the Muslims , Jews , Athiest and gays would accept a cross that defies their beliefs ?Why wouldn't the gays accept a cross on the jersey Bozo?
Well, you may be living in Australia, mate. Good for you. What consequences should some one face if they express their views ?
Before you answer just remember that we are living in Australia and not Noth Korea
So you are saying that all the Muslims , Jews , Athiest and gays would accept a cross that defies their beliefs ?
Bozo, you seem to have a whole story going on in your head which you have conflated with this exchange with me. I don't know what is going on in with your relationship to your religion. I'm sure it makes perfect sense to you and it's very logical. I don't have all the pieces to fully understand it. I don't think this exchange is going to go anywhere, because you seem to be stuck on that unspoken agenda. Respect and best wishes, big fellah.Would the muslims , jews athiests and gays in our team accept a cross on our jersey from the marketing team ?
You can laugh your head off but the reality is no Muslim Jew or gay would be happy wearing a crucifix feathered friendJust lmao. Are you for real?
How does a gay man wearing a cross on his jersey an act of defying his beliefs?
Reciprocity is a word that comes to mind.. just need to find the right balance to ensure we don’t limit our ability to learn from each other and shut down behaviour that does not appear palatable to the predominant narrative of the time… it appears the process of reciprocity is now being fast tracked to its detriment by group think enhanced by the net… I used to like the old adage of the pub test but that too has been infiltrated by group think mechanics not necessarily nested in the real world from a bottom up perspective….🙂Well, you may be living in Australia, mate. Good for you.
The consequences of expressing one's views are determined by the context. That is, what are the social standards and expectations of the families, social circles, communities and larger society. People do not express their opinion in a vacuum. They express it amongst other human beings because they need feedback in order to affirm themselves and/or to learn and grow. It's just not possible to express yourself without consequences as a social creature. You can express them all you like inside a cave by yourself, but that's not how human beings work, physiologically, emotionally, spiritually or socially.
It hard to communicate by texting some times but we will agree to disagree feathered friend 🙂Bozo, you seem to have a whole story going on in your head which you have conflated with this exchange with me. Bozo, I agree and wholeheartedly support the rights of others to express their opinions. But we also have a responsibility to society when those opinions espouse hatred, and cruelty. I don't think its as simple as "it's all or nothing" sometimes the greater good has to be considered before the individual. There's know perfect system but on the flip side we can't just have anarchy. We are discussing the full story and not just part of it and the marketing team played a big part of the mess
Yeah, you make a good point, Red, about the right balance. That's more to do with what the social context is for that time and place. Sometimes it may be overly aggressive, sometimes it will be passive, and yet again, anything in between. Our own individual beliefs and experiences colour all that though.Reciprocity is a word that comes to mind.. just need to find the right balance to ensure we don’t limit our ability to learn from each other and shut down behaviour that does not appear palatable to the predominant narrative of the time… it appears the process of reciprocity is now being fast tracked to its detriment by group think enhanced by the net… I used to like the old adage of the pub test but that too has been infiltrated by group think mechanics not necessarily nested in the real world from a bottom up perspective….🙂
I did not see any hatred or cruel remarks by our players celebrating our try and showing support for a friend and team mate .Bozo, I agree and wholeheartedly support the rights of others to express their opinions. Except for all those gay Madonna fanbois in the Eighties. You can laugh your head off but the reality is no Muslim Jew or gay would be happy wearing a crucifix feathered friend
Next time you see a Jew, a Muslim , a Athiest or a Gay person wearing a crucifix let me know feathered friendYou have literally no basis for making that assumption, Bozo. You're clutching at straws.
Also, for what its worth. Religion is a choice. Sexuality is not.
Bozo, it was you who stated " We all have the right of freedom of speech". I'm just saying it's not that black and white. Sometimes there are responsibilities that need to be considered.I did not see any hatred or cruel remarks by our players celebrating our try and showing support for a friend and team mate .

Good Luck 🙂
Without consequence? Like from their employer ?I believe that every one has a right to express their views
Well, yeah... if it's a religious driven choice. As a relgious person I can do whatever the farrrkkk I like and shouldn't have to be respponsible for those choices and certainly shouldn't face any consequences... afterall, I'm doing the work of god.Without consequence? Like from their employer ?
A split between the old mates? Woodsie joining the bedwetters, petticoats, broomsticks, pansies and rednecks? No doubt you can handle it, and Chuckee can handle the split no doubt, but what about the kids? Have you thought about what this may mean for the likes of @highlandeagle and @Red Pill ... who will they side with?
