One needs faith to make anything real . If one does nor believe nothing is possible
The biggest difference between successful people and unsuccessful people isnt intelligence or opportunity or resources. It is the faith and belief that they can make their goals come true
If one does not wake up and have faith and start believing then they may as well stay in bed all day because nothing will happen until they learn to have faith and believe.
Some of us believe that there is a God and some of us do not believe this . The fact is we all have put our faith in what we believe

Or more likely it means I so fundamently disagree with that tripe that I wasn’t going to dignify it with anymore than saying it was babble.

Faith and self belief are two diametrically opposed notions, you would also have to define the parameters and measure of success, because self improvement shouldn’t be and isn’t the only barometer of success.

Anyways, please don’t take this as a dignification

You can have all the self-belief in the world, without opportunities or resources you’ll go nowhere. Probably the biggest reason I don’t believe in God - what sort of bastard deity provides some people with all the opportunities and resources anyone could ever need, from birth, while others are born into horrific circumstances with no means to get out of them? If there’s a God, and he/she/it is that flavour of arsehole, then I would want no part of it anyway.

This is one way I can explain the definition of faith .
This definition of faith contains two aspects, intellectual assent and trust.
Intellectual assent is believing something to be true. Trust is relying on the fact that the something is true.

Example . A chair . Intellectual assent is identifying that a chair is a chair and
accepting. that it is designed to support a person who sits on it. Trust is actually sitting in the chair.
