everyone writing us off

If we can constantly deflate the opposition , we will be well on our way for a big year.
The boys seem to be on a michelin this pre-season, no stone left unturned, no bridge left to cross (think about it), they will leave the rest of the comp kumhotose.

what a funny Yoke ahama ... I'm off to the beach to catch a tube

I like the look of our forwards now (with JT), and with potential from Sipley, Paseka and Olakauátu (please give him a nickname!). But significant question marks in the backs - unknown 5/8, Walker serious injury, two wingers who can't catch a ball.
Definitely more confident of 8 than last year, but top 4 looks very optimistic.
Guacamole???

In all seriousness, I can see a few teams shakes up the comp a bit - Dragons being one and the Tigers will give the eight a real crack.

A few teams will jump out of the blocks in the first four rounds and the usual media suspects will claim them as premiers only to see them miss the eight when it counts.

We will take a step up from last year (major injuries aside).

On paper the Storm and the Cowboys should be well in the running again this season but Manly were quite competitive for most of the match time against the Storm and accounted for the Cowboys last year , so no reason why they can not match and even better these forecast front runners . It could be unpredictable again as usual and for Manly there is always the Dragons minor hoodoo to overcome but as long as Manly can stay in the mix there for that important top four finish , they could pose a real threat at the business end .

2016 for reasons unknown to most humans with brains - predicted Manly top 4? What the?
2017 due to 16 results at least - predicted 12th, finished 6th.
2018 - written off! - Premiers!😀
Who knows?
Go Manly!

Depending on injuries this should be our 2006 season, and possibly approaching 2007. Much depends on 5/8. If Croker or Hastings make a success in that position and injuries treat us well, we have the young future stars mixed with a couple of old heads like 06-07 to move up into the top 4. If we are hit with injuries we could slip from the 8, but if the football gods are with us I see Manly at 3-6. I picked 5-8 last year
