I expect a number of the playing group will resent Cronk and the fact that he has severely interfered with Mitchell Pearce’s future. I can see the same thing happening to the Roosters as happened to Souths when they resigned Burgess.

When the rorters weaved their magic and he signed with them apparently he called Pearce and said "I want to play with you and am not here to take your spot" - yeah right (feels slightly disingenuous)

And then he ran straight to the media to report this so people keep thinking what a wonderful human he is.

More like: Hey manager...find me the best deal with the strongest team no matter who it screws over....but work it so I still look like the saint I believe I am.

Regardless of where they are and where they came from they are regular first graders. For Liu and Taukiaho in 2018 it will be their 5th year in FG and both have played international rep footy. Not up and coming players establishing themselves.
Tetevano is about to enter his 8th year of FG and apparently on $120k.
The base minimum wage for a player next year is $120k isn't it? Thought I read that somewhere.

In my line of work I have been around the Australian side when it's been here in the UK.

out of all of them Cronk was the best bloke by far(other than Jake of course). reserved but just came across as measured, educated and a smart operator.

good luck to the bloke. Who wouldn't sign on for big money for a last haragh.

I will take Pearce for a few years. He's better than green. more like a foran so could be good for the side.
