I was no goose when Kelly got dropped last season and I am glad he had a good game and I hope he continues to .

Maybe not last season when he was tiring and his confidence was waning. However, you were unrelenting in the off season regarding the kid, and he had a blinder last weekend. So, after your tirade of posts regarding Kelly’s inability to perform during the summer, I was expecting a little more from you regarding how well he played. But as you have pointed out, this is a forum, so we are all (mostly) able to express ourselves however we like.

Well i think Croker was terrific today. Try assist, line break assist and follow up to score his own try. That ball to afb was awesome.

This was a tough sort of game to judge Croker in terms of what we need from a number 6 this season. His involvement in his own try was exceptional and I cannot fault anything he did today. Our forwards and game strategy obliterated them up the middle all day, so there was not much opportunity for structured tight play. That said, I'd be very happy to see our forwards continue to obliterate teams up the middle, and our backs having such a great platform to play from.

He reminds me of Foran, good support play. Straightens the attack and has the strong running game. Really, really like him. Had my doubts but blew them away today. Hopefully can be the 6 for a long time.

He sh-ts all over green in defence. It's only his third first grade game and in terms of the length of a halves career it's like a fart in a hurricane. So he will only get better once he gets more experience and learns when to inject himself in the game. Today showed that if everyone in the team plays well there's less focus on individual players.

Everyone looks good when you win 54-nil, but he was really strong today. Defence is very sound and he seems to pick his moments very well. Still need to give him more time to make a proper impression but today will do his confidence the world of good.
