That pass to AFB was smooth.

I think he is showing all the right signs but still has some growing to do.

Defensively he is strong, better than green.

While the jury is still out given that it was only his 3rd first grade game and 2nd with us, I will say that there were good signs from Lachlan Croker yesterday. I hope he continues to improve.

There are better teams out there who will test him more than doesn't-matta did yesterday. Melbourne, Nth Queensland, Cronulla, Penrith, Brisbane, St Merge, hell, even the Warriors right now will provide much better opposition.

Having Hastings on the bench providing some spark, something we have never gotten from Lewis Brown, was also a big plus. He didn't come on and cause us to stall, he came on and helped make sure we didn't stumble.

His awareness to pick out AFB, then to follow Jake after passing to him resulted in his own well deserved try

Just on the News saying that he can't describe how good it was to score his first NRL try and in front of his family

I reckon he has instinct that will further develop as our opposition try to shut down DCE

I think Hastings will compliment him big time and become a super sub

That little sleight of hand run then kick for the try was special and shows he can play what’s in front of him in an instant

I also noted all the boys come back to him after the try and give him a cheer and seemingly genuine congratulations

I reckon we are Very balanced side with DCE, Crocker Hastings and API

And that’s not even considering how strong our pigs are

Teams will not be able to cope in the middle stages when we hit the go button
