Absolutely hate them with a vengeance, we never win when we are wearing them. They look crappy too, hate that poxy VI hate our stinking away jerseys. Why couldn't wear our maroon hoops. Don't we have a washing machine ? Give them to Mrs Hopate. She'll probably even iron them. Second thoughts put her @ right centre. She'd have to defend better than Rubean. Sorry just venting.
Well.. Just tonight, and you can’t tell anyone. 🥸Well... **** me.
Couldn’t disagree any harder. Anybody who truly understands neurology and physiology would cut right through this myth. Narratives are important, but so too is basic physiology.Hmmm. I can’t agree. I don’t think rugby league is a calm game and certainly not the opening exchanges. You need to be amped up and ready to win the battle otherwise the game is gone. It was highly unfortunate what happened last night but it’s very very rare thank goodness. Just wasn’t our night and that was just one of the things that conspired against us.
It’s the high quality training at the Hyde Park fountain that draws them in.Yeah, everyone knows whats going on at the Chooks. It's been going on for so long now it's pretty much a given with this club. Very hard to compete in the player market with Chooks always being the players first choice.
Not adverse to use his coconut too.I have zero respect for JWH. In every contact piece, he uses an elbow. And the NRL mainly lets him get away with it.
Yep done across the board by Atkins. What was the 6 again count. The NRL always hide this ?. I'd say we lost that too.
Uses it all the time. He’s a grub and always has been. Not adverse to use his coconut too.
Now, why would we address our dummy half issue after... what?... 6 or 7 years sweeping it under the rug. I think this club still suffers PTSD from Stabby Fainu.Love his heart but Croker is a big issue for us. If we are going to stick with him, we need some legit spark off the bench. We are a quality 9 , prop and second rower away from being a top 4 side. Paseka hasn’t taken the mantle of pack leader which is disappointing. Brown has the willpower but lacks the ability. Josh A is a bench prop at best. Jazz T will give us some punch next year.
Need to pinch a 9 from somewhere. Mozer from
broncos would be my number 1 target.
True and I agreeI take your point but I thought our players prioritised Tolu’s welfare over push and shove. There’s nothing more horrible than seeing a guy on the ground concussed, being trampled by chest thumping Neanderthals.
Had koula been bigger and taller, JWH forearm wouldnt have struck his head. a centre is suppose to go in hard against the opposition. a centre is a very important position, almost like a rook piece in chess. I have always been a fan of big/fast/mobile centres. Suali, manu fits that bill. showing a bit of biff in the opening minute sets the tone for the rest of the game. The roosters did that but we couldnt match it , because we have small players. My god, I hope Koula and the team learn something from that dumbass opening tackle tonight. Why we persist in this stupid myth that we somehow need to work ourselves up into an emotional frenzy in final matches …. Dumb. Stay cool, calm and centred
Don’t know how he earned a contract extension, this could end up on par with the Myles contract.
I hope when people move past the disappointment of tonight, they see this season for what it was - improvement (in almost every area) both on and off the park.
Talau was a real highlight. Completely exceeded expectations. I thought Simpkin when given the opportunity sped our ruck up, and I'd love to see more of him. But Hopoate - what an absolute pleasure to watch this kids development - with us thank you very much!!
All things considered, I'm hoping we mostly come out of this season happily as a community. There's lots to grow from here now.
Looking forward to Caleb Navale next season. Possibly Jake Arthur if he hasn't signed elsewhere (in a Lawton type role). Be very interesting to see who stays and goes. Also he interesting to see how Jazz Tevanga goes.
Siebold definitely gets props. Our roster seems connected. Plugged in. Committed.
Thanks for the entertainment this year Silvertails. And the patience with me !. Particular thanks goes to the most beautiful woman alive @NREagle who didn't get cross at my GameDay tantrums haha.
See you all next season. We should really celebrate the season that's past. There are 11 other teams fans that didn't have as much reason as us to be plugged in tonight !
Go Manly !
