you can take anyone from those jerks in Boston, but everyone is too well paid to leave!
Interestingly - every team has a cap (about 80 million a year) but some states don't have a 'state tax' which means players there will earn more money - as less of their money goes in taxes.
I think 5 out of the last 6 winners come from states with no tax as they can get better players.
The nhl say "we know of this...but 'shrug'."

Hmmm. I can’t agree. I don’t think rugby league is a calm game and certainly not the opening exchanges. You need to be amped up and ready to win the battle otherwise the game is gone. It was highly unfortunate what happened last night but it’s very very rare thank goodness. Just wasn’t our night and that was just one of the things that conspired against us.
I thought we fought hard the first half but to many errors,Roosters to good , our middle has been a problem for a long time can't keep up with the pace , Roosters rolled through our middle everytime a quick play the ball Teddy, Watson, Radley on the back of it , attack we are very predictable and pedestrian in the middle, need some variety, speed , mobility, opposition now what's coming and man up 3 or 4 in the tackle, Jake into prop rotation, mobile lock and a 9 ( Love Froggy efforts but need more ability from our 9 )

Yeah, everyone knows whats going on at the Chooks. It's been going on for so long now it's pretty much a given with this club. Very hard to compete in the player market with Chooks always being the players first choice.

I thought JWH raised the point of his elbow but surely (surely surely surely) the bunker had plenty of time to look at that... or was this part of the 'it's finals just let them play' policy?
I thought we were gone after that cruelly unlucky opening 23 seconds. The side battled gamely from there but in the end the pressure led to Manly errors and an annoyingly relaxed night for Chook fans.
Manly's inexperience in finals might have played a part in that crazy opening minute. Either way it was a tough lesson to learn, some self preservation is necessary if you want to be part of the game (!)

Unless he raises his elbow/ forearm into a players head, they are allowed to protect or bump players off, bumper bars
