Another issue with not having Schuster and Sironen back in time is that it reduces the effectiveness of Marty.
Having Marty start means our back 20 in each half is much less potent than it was when Sips and Marty were coming off the bench. Having Siro or Schuster (just one of them) in allows Marty to go back to the bench, keppie to prop and lawton to 13.

He is a pub footy player and it will be a blight on our team if he comes back into consistent contention for minutes with players returning.

I reckon he would play if it was a semi final, but being we have some depth, better to have it fully heal and come back ready for finals. We will need a full strength side all fit to have a real shot

Possibly unpopular opinion but for a prop on $600-$800k he should be able to produce his best work as a starting prop.
In any case we'll have more options when Aloiai is back
Wow, just when you think the Dogs couldn't get any worse. Never seen a team with so few recognisable names. Now I'm nervous.

Dogs are heavily undermanned. We should win quite comfortably if we have learnt from the Newcastle L and the Titans first half. Wish they would actually give us an update about Schuster but it's obvious they want him fully fit and ready to play 6 against Raiders when Chez is out. Especially since it's a five-day turnaround from Dogs to Raiders. I hope Tommy plays, coz he is missing out on the raiders game coz he's in blues camp and unlikely he will play for dragons coz it's two days after game 3. So would be nice for him to collect some dally m points against the dogs. And I really hope Jetski never plays in our 17 again and is only on the reserves coz of lack of names. Lets gooooooooo Manly.
Still no clearer if Tommy will play. Doubt we will know for sure till an hour before kickoff. Will feel slightly more confident if Funa drops off in the first cut but most likely shift would be Parker to wing Suli/Walker to centre and Cust/Suli to bench.
He must’ve had some issues with his calf since I spoke to him last week because as I stated above he said it was feeling good and he’d be ready to go against the dogs.

This is the perfect game for BenT to get more minutes,no point playing a bloke that has failed to make an impact.
I think it’s more of a case of making sure he is for the Raiders game than anything, where he will play in the halves (unless DCE is dropped)

We won't see him next weekend against raiders or dragons 2 days after soo3 plus he does not need to train so five days rest will be enough rest time he needs.

Dont forget this is a game of footy between 2 teams. 80min where we know what should happen but unfortunately anything can happen.
Just look our Newcastle game yes I know what can happen and if we take the dogs lightly anything can happen.
We need to show no mercy on the dogs come Saturday afternoon.
