A good mate of mine is close with Madge who tells him that Benji is not the great mentor/leader that you think he is, and that he is actually quite self-centred and puts on a bit of a mask for the media. Pass!

If you are talking about Jude Gibbs, there is nothing to fret about. He would be on a development contract at best, but most likely he has been signed to play Jersey Flegg and the only reason he got a mention in Weidler's column is due to his famous father.

Played for Schools Barbarians,which is the best of the rest after australian schoolboys side is chosen(2019),played Colts for Sydney University.He is a Flegg signing....
Played for the U18 Waratah side which included Sualii,Koula and Weekes,supposedly good at directing/steering a rugby side around the park,obviously has some talent though....

God that makes me sick. It just makes a mockery of any sort of oversight when it comes to the Roosters and the salary cap.

Offer him the $150,000 he is seeking as a back up player.
If he is serious he would sign as there isn't many other offers floating in. He knocks it back and signs at the roosters for less then the NRL should finally go through the roosters head office.
