Davey is one of my favourites since last years trials (doesn't take much, does it @:D ). I think every premiership winning team needs players like him and would keep him in the squad at all costs

It didn't take long for Bullemor to be forgotten, did it?
I still think Bullemore has a place

I'd like to have him come off the bench in the middle. Keppie has fallen down the pecking order for mine and Bullemore hasn't had a chance on a dry track alongside a functioning forward pack. I think he offers something different and he hits very hard in defence so we won't miss much dropping Keppie for a while (except we might have a few less knock ons!)

Davey reminds me of Joel Thompson, who was a very reliable second-rower. I think Joel had more natural talent, particularly in his earlier years, but they both have a no-nonsense approach to the sport. As pointed out earlier, having Davey and Al in the same pack certainly helps us combat aggression from the forwards of top teams.
When The Shoe returns surely Jurbo will have to move into a front row rotation?

Is Bully a front rower or a second rower? Of course injuries will give him opportunities to make the top 17, but without them how is he going to displace such backrow players as: Guaca, Davey, Jurbo, The Shoe, The Lawman, Walker?

He played for Broncos and in QLD cup mostly as a middle forward.

I would like to see at full strength:

8. Aloiai
9. Croker
10. Jake
11. Olakuatu
12. Davey
13. Schuster

14. Lawton
15. Walker
16. Taupau
17. Paseka

He is more of a middle historically

That side works for me. Then first forward injured i’d replace with Bully or Sipley (only for middles) depending on their form in reserves

Then there is also Sipley , De Luis and Boyle as capable middle forwards , Des was noticeably intent on having some serious middle - prop depth and he certainly has it , taking into account that Davey and Bulemor can also manage roles there . Davey looks settled in the game day 17 now and well deserved but also would not underestimate what quality Bulemor should be able to produce as a back rower or middles forward soon as well .

I think Des is on record for saying “If you think you’ve got enough props in your squad, buy another one.”

I haven’t done the stats but I definitely know we used 7 props during last year for various reasons (suspension and injury), whereas we used 5 second rowers and maybe 3 locks. (I could be wrong).

I think Davey adds heaps of value and aggression to the team and helps the go forward, as well as his strength in defence.

As for his bets on tries with Haumole, maybe he should add in missed tackles.

did keppie play back row last season due to us having no backrowers to select ?

if davey gets dropped or benched we are a weaker team. he is a specialist back rower in that he has size, mobility, grunt in everything he does. not overly damaging with the ball yet, but i reckon that will come because he will find more gaps and half breaks as this season goes on because he challenges his opposition every play

i hope he gets an extension even with tuilagi coming across.
This guy is a MUST BE IN every day of the week, very dangerous attacker close to the line, great leg speed, solid defender, definitely Dessies fav type of forward.

Keppie was in the 2 nd row ,i st game against the Eels last season , went well too . Schuster slotted in at 6 with Foz out . , Tippytoes i st grade debut from memory and from the bench , coming on as a back rower .

and not to mention young gun forwards coming through like Alec Tuitavake, Ben Trbojevic, Sione Fainu, James Roumanos
