Channel 7 reporting that Pearce met with Cronulla coach, Shane Flanagan this afternoon. This thing definitely doesn’t seem to be over the line.

Pearce actually said when asked ‘Everyone’s been mentioning Manly and they’ve shown interest but so have a few other clubs so we’ll just wait and see.’

Hopefully the club haven’t been bluffed.

Yep it would be madness to break the bank for him. Having two halves on a million or Pearce coming in on 700-800 would make salary cap situation impossible.

I'm not invested in Pearce either way. If he comes to Manly it will be interesting to see how he works with Cherry. Surely Manly must have a plan for the halves.
