All we are saying, is Pearce off !

While nothing can be that certain with definite club signings right now, just got the impression after watching a replay of N R L 360 last night that the likelihood of Mitch Pearce joining Manly may be on the quite low probability side . Just like other signing possibilities right now , really a matter of just waiting and seeing .

In my opinion it was never a chance.

I tell ya , Croker is “the man”.

Holmes will want to leave sharks if Moylan gets fullback.
lord egon what u think of Michael Morgan apparently he's up for a swith to Sydney? so says the daily terror I'm not subscribed so didn't read but he would be great at manly and he's a gun see him in the finals.. no way pearce could do that

I read the article, its just a talking his price up piece.
Seems he is not happy with 3.2m over 4 years, and wants the cows to pay more like Hunt/DCE money.

Id throw massive money at him, if we landed him wow, he is coming into his prime and has developed into one of the elite halves of the game, the club would be silly not to throw him some cash but I think he will stay in Townsville, he grew up there, born there, he will be the cows future skipper.

PS. Hopefully King Aegon but the end of season 8@:D

well based on the Hunt/DCE scale he probably is worth 1m. Its just the cows don't want to pay it cause they have JT and JT at 1m each already.
Just because the Dragons were stupid enought to pay way overs for Hunt doesn't mean the other clubs should follow suit for Morgan

Morgan is a waste of money for a million if they have (or we have) an established half next to him. He only excels when he has to carry a team, and when he has a thurston next to him (or a dce, cronk etc) he just stands there and occasionally applies his running game. He's a good half to have as the leader although if you are going to splash over a million it'd be a waste

mate dce just stands there and green runs the show and dce injects himself when he sees fit. Some sets he doesn't even touch the ball. Morgan would be great for us

I see what your saying, but origin and aus have nothing to do with it..
Tom plays wing or centre when he gets called to play for aus, he will likely play wing for nsw, does that make him less of a fullback??

Dugans as much a centre as hayne is..

Exactly. Tommy will be the Manly fullback for the majority of his career, but when playing rep footy he's going to be mostly a centre or winger and will only occasionally get his hands on a representative #1 jumper.

Tedesco has the jump on him for the NSW fullback jumper (and playing for the Chooks will only enhance his position) and its obvious that with Slater, Holmes and even Boyd around (and maybe Tedesco later), Mal as the current Aussie coach see's Tom's international career in the three-quarters. The fact that he's selected him in the centres against Lebanon and Holmes at FB says as much, at least in this early stage of his rep career.

DCE stands there, and Green plays the role of a halfback, but DCE is still productive (earns his money). Morgan is a good player, but takes a back seat often
