Yeah he was on fire for about 50% of the time without JT. There was talk of him being dropped before he lifted for the finals

If we miss out on the halves merry go round this season, we will be stuck with Green and there is no better options coming up next season either so I think he will re sign before the end of 2018 if Pearce or anyone else doesnt come to Manly.

This has been the kind of weird thing for me with Pearce and Thompson.... I only really want players that are happy to be here and will buy into what we are doing.

Thompson seemed reluctant to leave and we've heard nothing from Pearce. But I think all of that is to be expected...they can't really say anything in case it doesn't work out.

Either way... let's get halves and others that want to be on board a team that will win another premiership sometime in the next few years! 🙂

Morgan would be a phenomenal signing! It would be the only signing we would make but wouldn't he be a great addition. He will control the game and direct the side better than most. Quite a attacking weapon as well.

Jt retires soon and they'll throw the bank at Morgan. Already offered him $800k. And as he's already pointed out, with cost of living in nth qld (compared to Sydney) his dollar goes further up north.

If he is relegated to a utility role, as suggested, there is no chance he’ll stay to ‘learn’ from Cooper. Not to say he’ll come to us though!

Definitely a chance mate, I really can’t see us going through the off season with the minimal fringe signings we’ve made thus far. If Blake Green goes he won’t be replaced at 5/8th internally.
