They are spending their cash pretty quickly by the looks of it. Cotric, Thompson (the pom), apparently Jack Bird, Hoppa. $3m can go pretty quickly, particularly when you have to pay above market value. I mean, they are supposedly paying Cotric $600k+ to pay centre (good young player, but completely unproven in the position).

Bird and jhoppa both coming off several seasons of bad injuries Throw in Foran and Twenty would be lucky to field a team each week with injuries

Where does the leave Burbo?

Burbo is a winger/centre (and FB, but Tom is our FB). Watched him in juniors play some excellent footy at Centre and Burbo is a better player than Albert (my opinion, dont flame me lol).

Bringing Will to save Albert is just killing our Salary cap for what I feel is limited value.

Tom at Fullback, Burbo and Suli in Centres then Garrick and Albert on wing.

if Albert walks for sersious cash, then let him. Burbo can play wing and we have Funa who is a promising talent.

We also have the possiblity of moving Walks back to centres (burbo on wing) and Shuey to 5/8 (which is also an exciting option). Although Walks is also arisk of being pinched.

Just need to sign or find some extra depth as Elliot and Parker arnt enough backline depth for injuries (assuming Jorge moves on).

Point is plenty of options if he wants to chase the cash.

There are always clubs who are willing to pay overs for young talent (look at Moses before he came here). The club needs to manage their cap as they see fit

I for 1 would hate Hoppa to jump ship and become a star after getting an opportunity elsewhere...
But in reality, the fact he wants to play with his brother and the Dogs wil give him a far bigger pay day, seems even if he got a start at Manly, would likely be moving on regardless.
Seems a Massive talent in younger grades, but keep in mind his serious injury ratio that will always be hovering when he steps up to NRL.
The only saving grace to stay at Manly, would be his desire to actually compete, as heading to dogs will be lucky to see a finals campaign

I just did a search - he was in the Rooster trial team earlier this year. Another one stalled by the mission.
