Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t they in an identical situation to us ??
They can’t sack him , they have to pay him AND include him in their 30 and the NRL gives them an “ allowance “ to replace him whilst he’s unavailable!!

The above list names 27 players contracted including Titmus, Burbo, and Koula ... whether they will be top 30 as suggested or development I don't know ... interestingly no mention of Fainu Junior ...

Forget the chances of us signing a Chooks player. It looks like Cordner may miss up to 12 months, and does anyone doubt (seriously) the NRL will work out some neat way to give them a salary cap exemption on his 750k salary?
And ... if in that contracted 27 players .. we have replaced Thommo, Waddell and AFB (approx $1.35 million) ... with 3 players, Titmuss, Burbo and Koula ... yet to even play reggies .. (approx value $4ook) ...

I am not expecting too much more to be honest. Maybe (and a big maybe) Saab and Garner. I cannot see a big name signing and in light of Cordner's concussion woes the second rower that was rumoured to be in our sights may now be locked down. We do have some good youth coming through and this has to be part of our strategy moving forward although patience is required. However in say 12 - 24 months time we may see names such as Ben Turbo, Koula, S Fainu, Titmuss, Weekes, Tuitavake, Fotu, Mappa, De Bartloi, Humphreys in or around FG. Very good junior crew but unfortunately patience will be required.
You may well be right , oh well possibly another **** year ahead !!!

Looks like they are in the 30 man squad, I haven’t seen the development players list for next season, however S.Fainu, Jade Andersen and Saddler were all signed for 2021 as development players on the last list I seen in August.
Titmuss has played a few games for Blacktown mate.
