Definitely dont need Allen.

Also Samu Fainu looks real good but not for 2023. Needs to continue to develop.

See Tuitavake and Fifita getting runs before Samu

Good choice with Samuela, though maybe a season away....he is seen by many as the most outstanding of the Fainu clan and still a growing boy, who actually played halves as a youngster and has the skills to accomodate his size and big motor.
Yeah I’ve heard the same about him, he’s gonna have that extra edge as a prop having played at halfback. We’re shaping up to be a premiership threat again!

No Dean matterson?
No cooper Johns either. wait and see perhaps. They may well both be train and trial and just haven't signed on the line yet. I really like the idea of Dean Matterson at Manly, even if it was a top 30 signing. He was the next big thing a few years back. If he spent last year playing in the back row he can tackle. He's no mug in the halves just quietly. He'd add value. Be disappointed if the club didn't get this over the line.

Wasn't he at blacktown a cpl years ago??

SEA EAGLES

Top 30 spots left to fill
: Four

2023 Squad: Josh Aloiai (2025), Morgan Boyle (2023), Ethan Bullemor (2023), Daly Cherry-Evans (2025), Lachlan Croker (2023), Ben Condon (2025), Viliame Fifita (2024), Zac Fulton (2025), Reuben Garrick (2027), Morgan Harper (2023), Sean Keppie (2026), Tolutau Koula (2024), Karl Lawton (2024), Haumole Olakau’ata (2025), Brad Parker (2023), Taniela Paseka (2024), Jason Saab (2026), Josh Schuster (2024), Toafofoa Sipley (2023), Ben Trbojevic (2023), Jake Trbojevic (2026), Tom Trbojevic (2026), Kelma Tuilagi (2025), Christian Tuipulotu (2024), Alec Tu’itavake (2023), Kaeo Weekes (2023)

Development players: Gordon Chan Kum Tong (2023), Jamie Humphreys (2023), Jacob Sykes (2023)

Who they could target: Manly still have four spots to fill and are in desperate need of some depth at hooker, but unfortunately there is not much available in the position. The club have lost Marty Taupau and Addin Fonua-Blake in recent seasons and could do with some reinforcements in the front row. Matt Lodge already has a house on the Northern Beaches, so he could be an option if the Roosters fail to lock him up. Manly have also lost key utility Dylan Walker to the Warriors, so a versatile player like Jaeman Salmon would be worth his weight in gold.

Three of those spots already filled by Fainu, Fainu & Vaega.
