I reckon you're on the money, Crichton gone for sure, need another big body on bench maybe mclean or finucane.
Walker gone for maloney or i hate to say it pearce. Turbo for cotric!

Yep. It was a terrific game of rugby league. One of the best in years. You should watch it just for the fact it will be the making of DCE and will translate into our next premiership. Would be nice if the rumours we are chasing arrow are true and DCE can have a word in his ear.

Hi Ralphie, I’m not trying to change your mind but I just posted this in another thread but it’s more appropriate here. This is how I see Origin but it’s just my personal view : )

I love Origin but I can understand why people find it disruptive to the regular season competition for a vast number of reasons. I do however think that State of Origin is a big reason why we are the most competitive and successful country at Rugby League.
If the poms or kiwis or any other country held a tri-series competition of this magnitude for their nations best players, I’d say we need a competition like that to get an edge over the nations that don’t set a stage between club and country.
It’s a pretty intense but effective way of determining and producing the best International Rugby League team so I think it’s an important part of Australia’s winning formula

As some learned poster wrote on here a few days ago:
SOO should be a one-only match per season, played on a weekend and where there is no other NRL matches played.
The match should alternate between Sydney and Brisbane.
This makes complete sense. You get a clear winner each year with no 'dead' matches, and it has minimal impact on the NRL competition whilst maximising the importance of the sole contest.

I'd have to go with Cleary just coz hes there, they're established together and it worked last year PLUS NC might not have been explosive game 1 but he kicked well and tackled awesomely...

Next choice Pearce as he and Maloney won a GF together...

So somebody on this forum today said they wanted Dale Finucane and Tariq Sims to make the NSW side. Well they have made the side now and Tommy has replaced Latrell Mitchell at centre. Maloney also returns

I like the NSW for this game more than the team in game 1 but still think that QLD will take this one out.

Again the QLD side looks strong throughout except for the centres and hooker position

This is the weakest forward pack NSW has named in recent memory.

I like the look of the backs, except I'm not at all convinced about Wighton in the centres.

I'd take Maloney over Walker any day.
