We poach them. They fry them.

Other teams just scramble.
A lot of them are fairly raw when we first get them.

That's because poor old Parra still can't figure out how to turn their stove on.
Then they pick up on the Manly culture and they're cooking with gas.

Funny you say that given that they've got a fantastic source of gas in Ricky Stuart.

Now dont you feel better that you have shown penitence for your misguided pronouncement. Feel absolved of your burdensome sin my son and take pleasure again in the pure innocence of the spirit. For my part I would suggest a quality scotch...neat

Why yes, yes I do, and I agree with the Scotch sentiment.

By the way, Manly to sign Josh Charnley from wigan. Super leagues leading tryscorer!!!

And I forgive you too Global. Thanks for the tip re international viewing.

No problemo. I'm here to help and smarter than I look (thankfully!)

Global I hope you typed each of those one at a time. If you cheated... you must do it all again. (Honour system in force here)

I have no honour to offer....but all night long I'll be honour and offer!

*insert egg joke here*

Not sure what kinda cap space we got left for next year, but I just don't understand why Jason taumololo can't get gem time for the cows... Would make an awesome mobile prop for manly.. Something we are going to need next year with kite leaving and rumours of kingy hanging up the boots

If we're getting Charnley it'll cost us ie payout his Wigan contract as well as his salary.
Wigan fans are ****ting kittens with this - losing Tomkins, Richards in one season as well.

Club would have to put in the contract no nude selfies either.

Personally I'd think Lewis Tierney would kill it over here. For those playing at home he's Jason Robinson's son.

Interesting isnt it that for so long its been almost one way traffic regarding players in League leaving our shores for more overcast skies. But now a number of returning ex pats and a growing number of top line Poms seeking the warm climes in Australia has been increasing year by year. I think the financial advantages of playing in SuperLeague are diminishing. Even Union and Aussie Rules ex League players are returning. Maybe the game is in better shape than we thought.

The tax offset isn't there anymore.

Actually surprised players in the 20's aren't looking at going into the Elite comp in France during our off season. Descent coin and get to travel.
Or even look at going to the English comp and playing there for the exact same reason (mind you they wouldn't be playing for the likes of Wigan, Leeds etc. it'll be more teams like Sheffield Eagles)
