Way I see it, the club being interested in momerovsky suggest we certainly have some funds for a centre and are very much on the hunt.
But were they really interested in Momorovski? From the time it was announced he was free to look around, despite still having a year left on his Penrith contract,to the time it was declared he’d signed with the Roosters, seemed very short if he was actually negotiating with two other clubs,Warriors&Manly,as reported.I’d suggest his manager threw out a couple of names to the journos just to get a last minute increase in Roosters offer

Looks like the Eels might be set for a bit of a shake up , Sivo off to Rugby , Mahoney a likely Dolphins signing and the Queen trying for a mega deal somewhere !!

Dolphins will need plenty of experience in the key spine positions so Gutho may well be a reasonable target. To be battling for the spoon in their first year would be a disaster. They'd love to get one marquee spine player and another 3 good quality with plenty of NRL experience. Gutho isn't quite the marquee but he'd be a good signing if they could also snare either Ponga or Munster or Grant or Smith.

Mentioned before and to add before any novelty falls away that the Dolphins could well attract a heap of interested T P A" s parties . Unlikely to match the Storm 's reported 850 k in T P A " s but could still be significant and an inducement to attract quality players .Sydney market for sport sponsorships would be pretty saturated one would think but the growing areas of southern Queensland and its market place could be a different matter

going to be intriguing who will eventually fill the remaining two spots in the Manly top 30 . Thought that Weekes may have come into consideration from the development squad but no indication yet . Also how much money still left in the cap limit . think that it has gone back to 9 . 25 or maybe that was just a previous proposal . Had to increase Marty "s contract but with Suli and Siro "s money and likely a bit less for Dylan , should be some reasonable amount left but maybe some upgrades for beyond next season to take into account but then again could be Marty"s last season at Manly in 2022 .

Not to mention cap money of Jetski, Saddler and Funa, you would think close to 600k.

I think Sivo was never quite the same ever since Parker crunched him that time a couple of years ago. Up until then he was almost unstoppable and was quite frightening, but after that seemed to lose confidence, shy of being tackled and far less effective.
Thanks Brad :)

When you think about it, TPA's of $850,000 are peanuts with what they should be in such a massive sport as rugby league; it's just the yearly salary of one good player. Actually peanuts are grown in Queensland so they would be a good sponsorship fit for the 'Fins.
Imagine the slogan: "We're tough nuts at Redcliff', or 'Everybody is going nuts for the 'Fins'....

Dolphins could end up looking like the Bulldogs on steroids....

and just Bullemor recruited at this stage , but yeah Suli , 550 , Siro probably around 400 k , probably close to 550 k for the others [ forgot about Funa ] hard for us mere mortals to be fully aware of but as you say , would have to be something reasonably considerable

Very true, he became gun shy and his hit ups became less explosive, also, Sivo turning and chasing, got found out numerous times. If you read the posts on the Eels forum sites, they just wanted him gone.

gee , wish i had your lyrical flair , just as a foot note the foliage of peanuts after harvest is also often used as a fertilizer so not sure if that would detract from its appeal as a slogan ., but an interesting suggestion to nut out

Either that or we are going to forward load a heap of contracts to try and pick up some big names in 2023!!
