He'd be crazy to come back to a dishonest basket case of a club and to possible police charges for domestic violence, when he could flee the country and make a million. No brainer.
Perhaps. But he will then be sued by Doesn'tmatta and will have to pay them up to $700,000. I would hate it if our best player - not that we have one as good as Radrandra - walked out and left us in the lurch when he is still fit, and played for another team.

Can only sue him if he comes back to Aus, lol@parra don't have buckley's otherwise. But like Manly suing CCJ, not going to get much from a $2 shelf co with minimal assets in Aus

Ex-partner takes out AVO against Radradra
By Matt Encarnacion - AAP on June 29, 2016, 12:52 pm

NRL star Semi Radradra is alleged to have assaulted his former partner numerous times over an eight-month period dating back to 2014.

Police are investigating the accusations after his ex-partner, Perina Ting, made a statement at Rosehill police station on Tuesday.

Ting has applied for an apprehended violence order against Radradra.

"A 26-year-old woman attended Rosehill Police Station, and reported that her partner a 24-year-old man, assaulted her on a number of occasions between September 2014 and April 2015, at their home in Parramatta," NSW police said in a statement.

Another alleged wife basher - NRL White Ribbon Program ain't working

Well, it just became very clear why Parra were supporting Miss Ting in a rental property and looking after her so well.

I had thought the motives were honorable, know it appears simply an attempt at damage control

Here is a tin foil hat theory for you guys, but just hear me out. If Semi wanted to get an immediate release from Parramatta, then there is no better guaranteed way to force a club to terminate your contract than to have a domestic violence charge hanging over your head. Could it be that his management have said the only way you are getting out of your contract with Parramatta is to get your partner to claim domestic violence and then once they sack him she drops the charges and he is gone to France. Bloody risky play, but I just think it is all too convenient that this comes to light just before he is apparently trying to seek a release this week to move to France.

Either that or Parramatta has known about him being a piss weak low life that assaults women for a while and once they knew that he wasn't coming back they have told his partner not to cover it up anymore and she has finally reported it.

Either way something is rotten in Suva!

The new NRL Policy on police charges is that a Club can not stand a player down until the Court rules against them.

So Parra couldn't sack Semi, just like they can't stand down Norman for drug possession @

Sadly, the cover up may be the real story here - Player reputation ranks above their family's safety. @:(

True, however that new rule from the NRL is there to protect people that want to stay and try to clear their name, if this theory is right then Semi doesn't want to do that. As sickening as this theory is, it may force Parra to just cut their losses & part ways because they dont want a 12 month domestic violence court case going on in the background. I doubt the NRL would be jumping to fight for the rights of an accused domestic violence abuser that wants to leave the NRL. Semi and Parra playing a huge game of "Chicken" with each other because Parra will be dragged through the mud if it goes to court and Semi will be dragged through the mud if he is forced to fight the charge in court. A sickening game of chess.

Ting doesn't believe Semi will return to Australia and NOW she takes out an AVO? The only reason to take out a legit AVO is if she thought he was returning. Certainly more to this than meets the eye.

It's not widely known, but Parra's Radradra press releases are half mooned shaped. Look out for the next semi circular semi circular.

As an aside the fact that "if" he comes back for the weekend game he would not have trained with the side for almost 2 weeks???

Straight off a flight on to the playing field, yep great prep. I heard the parra support & rehab team were top class (if you believe our ex players currently out injured)

Its fair to say he is definitely going. It just depends when. Now, end of this season or at the end of his Parra contract which is end of next year. Interesting scenario.

I would be trying like hell to go now - scummy downtown Parramatta or southern France and get paid 3 times more. Not to mention being a 1 hour drive from the Basque Country. Maybe he should become friends with Mundine (very fast), convert to Islam and get him to cover the contract release fee. Would solve a lot of his problems

His child is in Australia, which would be a pretty solid anchor for him. So it's not like it would be easy to just skip off to the riches of French rugby leaving the comical Parra and his shaved wookie partner.

Mind you the second he steps off the plane he will be hit with the AVO. Not much of an incentive to return.

Or for when she asks for half of his stuff.

Straight off the plane into a waiting police escort to Mascot station to assist with enquiries
