Being reported on channel nine right now. This is great.
Time to go check one eyed eel...
Parra goes from Semi to full soft.
Haha yes! Best news all day!!
Where is he going?
Oh and great news!
Did he take the ball with him too
I can not process this, it's just too weird even for Parra
Hayne Plane must have got into his ear and headhunted him for the Olympics
Not sure it really matters this yr with little chance of playing finals. They can let him go,get something financial from French rugby, sort their roster out then re-sign him on an upgraded contract at the end of the year
Wants to go to french $$$$$ rugby. Big loss for parra and the nrl. Oh well.
Foran talking about leaving the drama of Manly becomes funnier and funnier with every passing moment...
@pt73 on LOL@Parra thread is saying they mentioned Rugby in France.
Fittler and Joey better go and recruit a few more Fijians the NRL can develope and ready them for the big bucks in Rugby
LOL@PARRA!!!! Hahahahaha sucked in parra you cheaters lol
I just had a quick "read" of their site. It is nice to know our feral supporters are not a patch on theirs....some of the stuff, just wow
Radradra Walks out on Eels
EELS flyer Semi Radradra has shocked the NRL by walking out on the club to play rugby union in France.
Only a matter of months ago Radradra made his debut for Australia in the ANZAC Test but he looks to have played his last game of rugby league.
Radradra has told the Eels he is leaving the club to play in France and has left the country to return home to Fiji.
The Eels have not accepted his decision but have said they would be willing to negotiate.
The Eels flyer is contracted to the club for next season and Parramatta expect him to be with the team for the remainder of this season and next.
In a startling development the Eels are believed to have offered Radradra the opportunity to play in France from August until the next NRL season commences.
However they expect Radradra to extend his deal by another three years if he accepts that deal.
The news is reminiscent of Sonny-Bill Williams decision to leave the Bulldogs for Toulon in 2008.
More to come . . .
The Eels can not offer a deal where a player goes and supports a rival code
A handshake agreement that he comes back, possibly?
