Just wore my new indigenous jumper shopping in Newcastle ....... happy to say received a number of 'go Manly' comments. It looks great and only got one negative comment from the local butcher who is a Parra supporter. He shut up quickly when I said ' you are welcome .... for Wattmough and Foran'

Slightly off topic. As commercialised as anything to do with the US is, I've always admired that their sports uniforms are sacred. NFL, NBA, MLB etc have no sponsors whatsoever on their strips. Pretty much everything else is fair game, but their playing strips are clean.

100% agree with this and hav made th same point for years.

However the NBA moved the NBA logo to the rear collar and soon will be allowing sponsorship to be displayed on the front where the NBA logo used to be.

Will be interesting to see how long until the other leagues follow.
