For starters, you want some separation between their retirement as a player and taking on the coaching role. Are you expecting Seibold to be in the job for at least another 5-6 years?

Plus I really don’t see this bloke who seems to have a bit of a disconnect (do they really pay attention to him?) with his players as the captain, changing his spots when he becomes the coach.

Why don't we promote Toovey into the NRL coaching department, and hire Brad Arthur as an assistant... 2/3 of the 2013 GF coaching staff... One can dream.

Hales and for certain Dymock, they have shown barely anything, they can go. I think Seibold has value in him, but honestly it might be worthwhile giving him the "talk" because realistically no other place would take him as head coach. He definitely has some great insights into attack, and we have had fantastic attack all season.

Very idealistic, but a coaching staff of:

HC: Tooves
Assistants: Seibold and Arthur

That could work... Jake Arthur would obviously lure Brad here too.
