If you had told me that we would be sitting in 6th place with just a few rounds to go - and would have an outside chance of the Top 4 - I would have said we have had a good season.

But if you throw on top the fact that:
We are threatening to get back to close to full strength
We are basically selling out Brookie every week
The squad seems happy and relatively 'under the radar'
The eels are almost in Spoon position
We play two teams in the bottom half and two teams directly above us in the ladder in the next 4 weeks

Then I think there is the potential for this to be the best season we have had in 10 years.

Where can we end the regular season? Does anyone give us a shot of top 4? Does anything think we miss the 8?

Colours to the mast time - i'm excited!

Definitely in with a shot at 4th position. 5th or 6th gives us a sell out home game as a consolation for missing out on 4th. Yep, I'm excited too.

Not 'having a go'....It's more like...

If someone is interested in the opinions of others, I was just linking to said opinions so they don't miss out, or grow old waiting for responses.

Anyway - even if it did violate some 'forum rule' (wait, it does, rule 5...!)

By the power invested in me as the worlds 287th best mod, I shall let it pass.

(You were 112,475th best)

lol

Haha it's all good I was just making a reference to the thread author @Harmless27

Getting into fourth looks unlikely. Roosters and Sharks are 3 points ahead. Roosters play Eels, Titans, Raiders and Rabbits (none presently in top 8). Sharks play Knights, Dragons, Warriors and Sea Eagles. Even is Manly defeat the Sharks in the last round, The Sharks otherwise have a tougher draw facing Manly and Dolphins but are likely to be still be a point ahead of Manly, if the latter won all 4 games. The Dogs have a tougher draw facing Dolphins, Warriors , Sea Eagles and Cowboys, while the Cows face Raiders, have a bye, then Storm and Bulldogs. Dolphins have it tough facing the Dogs and Storm while Dragons face Sharks.

My Guess at the table at end of Round 27.
Panthers
Storm
Roosters
Sharks
Sea Eagles
Bulldogs
Cowboys
Saints.

We'll finish 5th or 6th depending on the result of the Bulldogs game. It's a shame the Sharks are always gifted such a soft draw because I think we're definitely a better side than them, we'll beat them in round 27 and it still won't matter, they probably won't lose any of their next 3. Can pick out a few games from earlier in the year that may come back to bite us.. mainly the one against the team we're playing again tomorrow

5th is not a bad outcome anyway - home final at Brookie against a weak Dragons/Phins side, Sharks week 2 at a neutral SFS, then winner of Storm/Roosters for a spot in the GF (provided Penrith win the minor premiership, which they likely will should they win tonight). A little harder should we finish 6th, but still a home final into a potential rematch at the SFS against the Roosters (or maybe a trip down to Melbourne) - exciting times regardless!

To get a home final is a good result for the squad, the Coaching staff have done a decent job in getting the team there, the challenges at times in getting numbers out on the field with injuries and Origin.

Hoping the Knights can roll the Sharks and than the onus is on the team to win their remaining games and claim fourth.

I think we will finish 5th . I think too much has to go our way for us to finish 4th , but we do play 2 teams above us , so who knows !

Well finish 5th and play the Dolphins at home and put 40 on them. We win the rest of our games we’ll make 4th, but I think we’ll drop 1.

Don't think we can make the 4 so 5 or 6 is ok as long as we have our full side there. Maybe we need to rest turbo dce Jake etc last 2 games to make sure they are there for the knockout stage.

I think it will came to the last home game vs Sharks to decide if we finish Top 4 or Top 8

5th dont think we can make 4th. It will be the best spot with a home final at Brookie vs 8th then play the loser of 1 v 4 I think. If it's the gummies then we'll at least play in prelim final. They're our finals bitches.
