Where will we finish?

Beginning of the season I tipped us top half of the bottom eight. I'll keep my words but change the order bottom half of the top eight.

Are the Broncos still a hope? Next up play Eels, then Dolphins, finish with Storm... who may elect to rest some players?

I thought this when the commentators declared them dead and buried after losing to tits...

Cows was their hard game (if drizzle rest players - which they likely will) and they won that....

Cows have probs done enough to play finals but competition for that 8th spot is weak and no guarantee that any of them win out over the next 3 weeks... donkeys have a better f/a then most and winning out (with a 10+ point win over dolphins) probs sneaks them into 8th...

Mind you, they have kept building their injured list since the tits game also...

It’s funny - isn’t it…. This is probably the best part of the season. Knowing we’ll make the 8, the hope of top 4, and still a few games to enjoy before the inevitable heartache and knock out in week 1 or 2 🤣

Still - it’s a great time to be on the Manly bandwagon

No other results falling our way so top 4 is all but over. Will have to win all 3 if we want 5th which isn't a reality. I'd say 7th at this stage with a trip to either Townsville or Wollongong. Either way it will be over after week 1.

Yep win our first game and get to week 2 is a massive improvement on recent years, that home ground advantage will be huge.

I see us winning 2 out of the remaining 3 games , which I think will be 6th , if we were to beat the Bulldogs as well it could be 5th.

A home semi.

We win that and go to week 2.

Ha at least you are consistent.

It is unlikely we drop out of the top 6 IMO even if we win 1 of 3, if all the favourites win we finish 6th.

Cowboys have Storm and the Dogs at Accor. Dragons would have to win all 3 if we win 1 and they have the Sharks next week.

All that said, if all the unlikely scenarios happen and we finish 7th, we did win in Townsville earlier this year so no need to give up yet.

If you are going to crack down on “blockers” during golden point field goal attempts, how about just refereeing the onside… FFS, seriously! Just take care of the basics, call the offsides, and we don’t have to massage the spectacle with convoluted garbage new rulings every year. Rant/

From what I can see we need to win 1 more game or the Dolphins lose 1 game and we are guaranteed to finish in the eight.

Sharks were a mile offside but the bunker clown ignored that and went straight to the blocker farce because Sutton picked it. Kennedy never had to change his line and nowhere near back the 10m.
