To get to the finals after the last few years is excellent , a huge improvement.

Our biggest losing margin this season is still only 14 points. That's impressive. We are competitive whoever we play. And while we don't have the Sombrero lineup of Easts our blokes have been giving us good value for our support.
I seriously believe if we had AFB in our pack we'd go very close to winning the premiership. Mind you, he may be the best prop in the NRL but he also seems disloyal, and moves so often he has Grace Brothers Removals on speed dial.
We lack that bit of starch in the forwards. Our backs are as good as any.

Done my weekly ladder predictor and it’s good signs for us. We rather make 4th and get a free hit at Melbourne for a chance of making the prelim and if we lose we get sharks week 2 anyways. Or we finish 5th and get a home final against dragons and then play sharks week 2. So either way we are making a prelim minimum.

Will be hard to make top-4 but we CAN get a massive confidence boost by beating dogs and gummies in the run home...
For top-4, the fish need to stumble against the knights, dragqueens (best chance) or warriors - which seems doubtful after watching them demolish the tits last week...

We need to win 2/3 remaining games
If we drop say 2 I see us 7th or 8th position

Tigers away - w
Dogs away - 50/50 game and be a real good indicator of where we sit

Sharks home- again 50/50 game
But at home and with dogs vs cowboys on the Saturday night we will know and sharks to what we are both playing for on the Sunday afternoon ( home final top 4)

Or if we finish 4th we should play our Blacktown side against Melbourne and give our top boys the week off. Then all guns firing for Sharks in elimination 🤔

The Bulldogs were premiers in 1995 finishing 6th on the table beating us in the grand final.
I was at that game and it was probably our worst game all season, from memory we lost 2 games all season before the grand final.

On paper we should win the rest of our regular season games but have a feeling we might drop one of those and finish 6th.
That draw and a few of those games we let teams back in while winning by a decent margin have cost us a top 4 chance.
5th is about the best we can achieve, I don't see us jumping into the top 4.
