It’s sad to watch our demise after the super league debacle crippled us. It’s hard to see us ever recovering bar a miracle.

Seriously? You don’t see the whole league war as a significant impact on our club’s history, and the negative fallout? I’m not that informed on the intricacies, but I’m curious to hear your thoughts on it.

Absolutely it was, but we rebounded to have an era of high performance 2007-2013. So to then 11 years on from that to be pointing at something near 30 years ago rings a little untrue to me.

Best we can hope for now is 6th, which given our capitulations seems fair. I don't think we deserve to go beyond finals week 1 with the s**t this team has been dishing up.

This last few weeks has re-confirmed my conviction that we cannot win a premiership with Croker at 9. I think I'm about ready to add that we can't win a premiership with Burbo in our top 17, he has one more season to prove me wrong I think.
