“Officer of the Watch, Captain, dive the submarine.”

“Aye Aye Sir, dive the submarine. Helm, Bridge, sound the klaxon twice.”

“Aye Aye Sir, sound the klaxon twice.”

“Yahooogah! Yahoogah!”

I am in the photo. A door prize to the first person who picks me out on the casing.;)

It's tough.

You'd either be the lazy bugger leaning up there on the conning tower, or the one waaaaay back at the stern.

I'm going...stern boy!

are you the one at the front assuming the position in preparation for the hazing ceremony ?

Ugly game, but it was a win, nice to see the boys react the way they did so hopefully gain a bit of confidence, enjoy the training this week with a spring in their steps and get some more good news with Turbo coming back in.
Go into next week a different team.

What really gives me the s...s is the way the commentators say how many players the Warriors are missing but fail to mention how many we have out. Talk about the have and have nots.
Here's another piece of bias too - the score was never updated after DCE kicked the FG! I took this photo about 10 mins after the end of the game:

You cannot blame them feathered friend as they were in a state of shock

Des and the Manly Sea eagles shook the RL world as no one gave them a hope in hell of winning

WHEN TEAMS WIN AGAINST ALL ODDS
IT IS ONE OF THEIR FINEST MOMENTS

CONGRATULATIONS TO DES AND OUR PROUD SEA EAGLE PLAYERS

Watched the replay again. The refereeing was one sided rubbish. 3 times late in game we had to use capt challenge to overturn s**,t decisions that would have cost us the game. The Warriors offside was diabolical yet they were getting the 4th and 5th tackle restarts

Dessie has channelled 2008 ... and we'll flog 'em ... Rip in Manly!

He explained to them during the week about completing sets ... stunned and delighted ... they said they will give it a go ....

I told you numbnuts ....

Another thing that really p1ssed me and they do it on fox all the time with Manly more than others
Pre game was all about the riff and other games. Then at half time was again about everything but us except for a few minutes.
Yet the favourite teams get inside the room the whole freaking break.

Sometimes you wouldn't know we were the televised game

Jazz Tevaga was offside about 35 times. Zero 10 m penalties to Manly. Two to NZ.

I'm of course pleased that the Sea Eagles finally won after such a disastrous losing period. They stood up to be counted and that's all we can expect. However without trying to put too much of a dampener on this win, it was against an understrength side in the bottom half of the comp and by one point and despite the concerns expressed about ref decisions, the possession was fairly even, though the overall stats, except in kicking, had the Warriors ahead in most areas.

I know I'm sounding like those Fox commentators, some of whom do malign the Sea Eagles. But there is much about this team that still needs a lot of tweaking especially in selections. Unfortunate thing is, now Des will feel justified in sticking with those players who may have played well in this game but havent produced for quite a long time...and I'm not talking about DCE who I think tries his heart out and overdoes it sometimes...but at least he tries.

Manly are facing a team likely to be in the 8 by the end of this weekend, and they are flogging the Knights, who aren't a bad side. And the Titans have been a bogy side for Manly even at Brookie. I just hope Des realises that some of the players who did the job for him, such as Harper, Funa and Schuster who he's been forced to include because of injury, are the sort of players we need in first grade. I'll be very interested to see who he selects especially now that we've lost a few more including our best centre. Great job that the team did, but its only one game.

Love how that article headline is dce slits field goal in final 30 seconds. How about final 3 seconds??

or dce slots field goal sometime in final 80 minutes even.
