It's always great to see Manly have a win. Nothing else makes me happier. Very pleased for the boys, the club, the supporters, and all fellow silvertails. I agree absolutely that it's time to enjoy the moment. Analysis can wait until this round is over. The boys "played tough, done good", in the words of Jack Gibson.I respect your opinion on the game mate but your “ Debbie Downer” display tonight after hardly saying a thing for weeks is quite frankly , pretty ordinary.
Come on later in the week and pick it apart by all means , but FFS, just let people be happy for a few hours !!
Jack also said that "To win a championship, you've got to have a nucleus of five or six real tough, hard competitors. To win anything, the team's got to think tough and that infiltrates into the individual. You've got to have a tough leader."
We saw some of that tonight. The forwards played tough and led tonight. Looking forward to seeing it every week. Win, lose or draw. Go Manly.
