From our perspective yes it was bad. But back then, if Kerry Packer, arguably the richest man in the country, wanted to pay you a small fortune for your league playing talents which was a lot more than he was already getting, regardless would you turn it down? Bozo wasn't getting any younger. Like Arko back then, I can't blame him.
At least he never took them to a premiership. GF yes, but no title.

Back in the day when Kerry Packer showed an interest in some set sporting matter , he usually got what he wanted and regardless sometimes of the money outlay . Especially with World Series Cricket in particular . Luring Bob Fulton over to the Roosters was no exception also . Pretty sure that Packer for whatever reason also was prepared to help bank roll both Wally Lewis and Gene Miles to Manly in late 1986 until the Q R L intervened [ may not have presented the best image for Manly with their then legitimate Silvertails tag] and pleasing that Manly still won in 1987 irrespective ] Money talked then and in most instances always will .
Great another 2 months - interesting to see what happens to Dylan now - does he train with the team or not?

Looks like it may be becoming increasingly difficult for him to do so . Still a presumption of innocence to apply? an assumed lower level of a misdemeanor ? not an easy area or situation to navigate through as far as Dylan and the Manly club is concerned
several differences in fact ... Walker is NOT accused of sexual assault or rape ........ or AOGBH ....
He is .. even if the witness's worst case is factual ... guilty of pulling his partners hair causing scratches ...... contemptable .. YES ..... but hardly in the class of rape and biting a strangers genitalia bad enough to cause medical treatment .....
As for sponsors wanting answers ... so what ... so do we, that's natural curiosity ... as for pulling out .... Weidlers taking the piss surely ....
