Going to be interesting to see what happens to Froggy if Fainu is cleared and ready to play. Froggy as we know is one of Des' favourites so i'm finding it hard to believe he will be out of the 17. What does that mean for Lawton then?

considering fainu will be extremely rusty i would probably keep croker there for the first month or two when fainu is available anyways (assuming he is - sounds like he will be). However this would probably mean dylan drops off which i think is a big loss for u sfrom an impact perspective... unless he stays in the genuine prop rotation... how far the game has come haha (with dylan walker now considered a front rower).

however fully fit fainu is picked easily and I don't see croker having much impact from the bench compared to walker or even lawton.

date set for july. back end of season return?

realistically croker will probably be the hooker for the first 20 rounds regardless of if fainu is back in time. itll take a month or two of footy with fainu coming off the bench

Why not start with Croker and bring Fainu off the bench - particularly early on if/when he returns. Croker's defence in the middle is a key ingredient of a pack built more on flair then gritty defence.

Walker doesn't really seem linked with anyone else so maybe the club's just giving him time to sort out his vaccination attitude?
If so, that still leaves 3. We might keep one for Manase, so that still leaves 2 new players to come in.
