Game Day: Tigers v Manly [Round 7, 2021]

Just got back from the game, what a great win by the boys in what is usually a tricky opponent for us.

I was impressed with the Manly supporter turn out to BankWest...equalled or outnumbered the Tigers supporters.

T Turbo is more valuable to us than any other player to their respective teams. Hopefully he stays fit and gives us more wins like that.

Our forwards were beasts today and Schuster is going to be a very special player in a couple of yrs.

Great way to cap off the weekend!!!

The chin is the best half in the game and pretty much has no bad parts to his game... dce will need to be at his best to come close to this guy! If we dominate the Panthers pack it will go along way but cleary isn't like dce he wont shy away he will do what he can to win and get his team back on track. Great leader for his age

DCE never, EVER shies away from anything. Ever. His biggest problem is trying too hard and overplaying his hand because he refuses to shy away from anything... Cleary is damn good, but as far as I’m concerned his consistency is his main weapon: he always turns up and plays pretty well. But he’s never played in a ****house team and he’s always had a good hooker and a good number 6 at his shoulder, something that Manly have rarely had on the field at the same time to complement DCE. It’s a lot easier to soar like an Eagle when you don’t have turkeys that you have to rely on in the game...

He also hasn’t had Croker (who’s improving but still a stop-gap) at hooker, with a hopelessly out of position Dylan Walker or Reuben Garrick at fullback....

Edit: I rate Cleary very highly, but on equal terms DCE has beaten him 2-1 in their last few games against each other...

F'KING COMPOSURE! This is where DCE FAILS MISERABLY. He just cannot take control of his team. We need Fozz to step in again and start leading.

We're screwed here. F*&*ing everytime against the Tigers we play like s**t. Mistake riddled rubbish.

Spoke too soon lads. Best game DCE has played in years.

Defense has been the big improvement. WTF happened in the first 4 rds.

Lots of new combinations, match fitness and Tom missing. Im telling you he as good as he is in attack his defence and organisational play is juat as awsome.

Had been a huge critic of Marty in the first month.Take a bow champion ,running hard ,hitting hard ,showing plenty of heart.
