It's come to the point where the Refs need to decide about these head high tackles, weather it's minimal contact or a full on high shot. If it's minimal, it's play on. Our game is being suffocated by to many of these penalties when there not even warranted in the first place.

They have, it's quite simple. If a Manly player hits someone high, it's a sin bin or at least on report. If a Manly player is hit high, it's play on.

Agreed. But smart coaches need to start coaching their players to tackle differently. The first and most important contact target should be into the ribs under the ball, while the second tackler is around the legs. It just seems like an obvious strategy shift to me with the current climate

TBH, I don’t care how fast the game is… when you have trained muscle memory to aim under the ribs, it will do so regardless of speed and fatigue.

It's the mentality of the team the disturbs me the most...any moron could see that the Tigers would have everything to play for. Any moron could see that the crowd were going to be vocal as feck with Brooks homecoming. And what happened, we fall into an ill disciplined ball of monkey crap.

Yes, we played against 14 players at various points and for 30 mins it was 14v12, but fark we put ourselves in crap positions . We lead 16 nil, we then go a hero play and Lehi gets bundled into touch. Api scores. Turnovers = tries against. Then comes the high shots. Dead set the Tigers blew 4 or 5 early chances. They actually could have led by 12 at half time.

Bottom line, whenever we play a game to put us in a strong ladder position, we f*ck it up as we don't turn up mentally.

Think I have had a nightmare tigers beating us from being 16-0 down, us playing dumb dumb footy

But no it actually happened and it was not a dream.

The morning after this has to be one of the most disheartening, diabolical, hurtful performances I have seen from us in a long long time.

With what we had on the line I just can't get over how we played.

some of our boys need a good hard look at themselves today, really have wasted another year of footy.
