I'm sorry but burbo, Gordon & waddell are all squadies who should only play a game here or there when we're desperate!

I'd bring in Lodge for Ailoi, Lawton and Talau will give us a more solid look for the Doggies game.

I didn't feel comfortable at 16-0, I sensed that we got complacent, in all honesty this bunch are as consistent as the weather.

I would were a face mask for a week if I were any of our players .

With the players we have that was a Total shame for.the supporters and the club.

The fainu brothers, API and 2 rookie backs made us look like park footballers.

Disgusted. I really thought we had turned a corner after a decade of mediocrity and heartache. No. Gough’s performance aside, that was putrid. I’ve lost motivation to bother supporting this garbage anymore. Broke my heart tonight with that against triple wooden spooners and so much to play for.

I'll have to disagree slightly, @davohan123 . Tonight's performance still wasn't as bad as the St George game earlier in the year... 🙂

we were never really in that St G game,
but tonight ,im still in shock ,like soo much to play for Home semi ,maybe a top 4 now possibly lucky to make the 8 .I still can't believe we had 30 minutes of sinbins back to back against a team that averages nearly 1 a week ,and again we were short changed on 6 agains.
I dont know what to say .
ref was appalling along with that useless kunt in the bunker and thier "management" of the result
I can watch that shyte anymore ,my voice is gone from screamimg at the TV and my BP is maybe 300/250

My thoughts as well, at 16 nil the Tigers weren't going to give up, and after Api scored i knew we were up against it.

Olakau'atu had a bloody shocker. From losing our challenge in the opening minute to getting binned. How did this bloke get picked for Origin ? Then gets suspended when he didn't even play FFS. Just dumb !

Saab needs to have a chat again to his grandfather (?) or whoever it was that called him out at the beginning of his career. He is a dead set borderline sprinter with bling and attitude. He has shown great improvement, but still a long way to go. Tonight was putrid.

That was an absolutely disgusting performance. Even with the utter reaming we got from the ref we would have won it comfortably if we just stopped playing jungle ball.

That said, that was the most patently one-sided, vile refereeing performance I have seen in as long as I can remember, and given how utterly diabolical the NRL referees are that's really saying something.

Letting the tigers lie all over the ruck all game, a string of 6 first half penalties against us, most late in the tackle count, THREE f**king sin bins - two of which were utter garbage.

Seriously Gough should be investigated by ICAC after that absolute sh*t show.

I'm disgusted.

has anyone seen a more useless player than Ben turbo. Seriously. What does he bring to the table? I saw him and Brookes combine for a wonderful “tackle” tonight that lead to a try and that’s the only time I saw him. He gave away a brain dead lying in the ruck penalty too I think

He is terrible, waste of a top 30 spot. Not that he is alone, but at least most of the other spuds show. Glimpses of skill and potential

I think Simpkin for GKCT. They rolled through us in the middle when Crocker was off. When he came back on we stiffened our defence up again.

Croker has only been half the player since he's been back. And still waiting for Gordie to do something, Simpkin needs to come back in asap.

When will teams learn to adjust their tackling style to the new head protection approach? Seriously, why are players going anywhere near the head and shoulders in the current climate? AIM below the ball carrying arm with a second around the legs.

But we could not control what could have won us the game against the bottom of the table team

And having 3 players at various times in the naughty bin didn't help our cause either.

It's come to the point where the Refs need to decide about these head high tackles, weather it's minimal contact or a full on high shot. If it's minimal, it's play on. Our game is being suffocated by to many of these penalties when there not even warranted in the first place.

Agreed. But smart coaches need to start coaching their players to tackle differently. The first and most important contact target should be into the ribs under the ball, while the second tackler is around the legs. It just seems like an obvious strategy shift to me with the current climate
