Match Stats

You can't possibly lose to the Tigers and not make changes.

1. Turbo
2. Saab - no idea who else
3. Talau
4. Garrick good game from him I thought
5. Hopoate
6. Brooks
7. DCE
8. Paseka - great game aside from the tackle Waddell was sin binned for (?????????)
9. Croker
10. Sipley - had enough of bloody Aloiai
11. Olakau'atu
12. Lawton
13. Jake
14. Simpkin
15. Bullemor
16. Brown
17. Waddell / Lodge

I'd rather Sipley and Lodge miss tackles because of their natural ability than have people who get dragged into touch because of their stupidity

Just watch our ruck defense for a couple minutes. Really focus on it for a couple sets. We are so poor at controlling the ruck, with our grappling, slowing the play the ball speed down. So vulnerable through the A gaps its hard to watch sometimes.

The issue we have through the middle is we got a slow lumbering forward pack, Jurbo the slowest of all with poor change of direction speed. But at the same time he’s the only one that can consistently make his tackles, he cleans up so much mess for us in the middle while also being a vulnerability with his lack of agility and quickness. He shouldn’t be playing 80 anymore ideally but he has to.

So after calming down

my observations

That was without doubt the worse performance in a number of years

turbo dce only 2 players who had a dig

The rest worse game for a lot of them

We don't deserve to play finals footy and are still many years away from doing anything in the NRL

I hope we miss the 8 from here we don't deserve to make it.

Dogs sharks we won't win both

That loss just cost us a home final

hope the boys are hurting as badly as we are right now
What was alarming, we crumbled down the middle and after leading by 16 against the bottom team. Bulldogs next week, not writing us of yet, this season anything can happen.

H E L L O! We bent over to the BOTTOM PLACED TEAM… the team that has collected the last two wooden spoons, and likely to make it a trifecta this season. We had everything to play for… a potential top 4 (let alone solidifying a top 8), a horrendous record at Leichardt we could have started to correct, Seibs next contract upgrade… pathetic. Up 16-0 and on top… and THAT!

BTW, it was almost our most comprehensive loss and blow out for the year… against the farrkking wooden spooners.

Yeah how bad we folded down the middle was very alarming

If we don't see a response from the boys next Friday I think our season may be done.

Boy leading 16-0 up against the tigers as you said and lose

Unacceptable

I'll have to disagree slightly, @davohan123 . Tonight's performance still wasn't as bad as the St George game earlier in the year... 🙂

OK, this won’t be popular, but I have to call out Turbo defensively tonight. Two of his “efforts” led to Tiger tries. He failed to come across and help Koula stop Mason, and that should have been pretty straight forward and easy for a good defensive fullback. And he over-read the play while Sayfer just stepped and walked past Brooks to run in. How does a defensive fullback allow a forward to run through the middle and score untouched that far out?

We dont seem to have the ability to slow the opposition forwards down. They simply march downfield most games and we simply rely on our speed or individuals to score points and win us games. How many of our forwards would make the top sides forwards?

Its a game that can change very quickly, lost ball by Olacalatu, then no ball for 8 sets straight. It's a pathetic excuse i know, just so shattered tonight.

It's the mentality of the team the disturbs me the most...any moron could see that the Tigers would have everything to play for. Any moron could see that the crowd were going to be vocal as feck with Brooks homecoming. And what happened, we fall into an ill disciplined ball of monkey crap.

Yes, we played against 14 players at various points and for 30 mins it was 14v12, but fark we put ourselves in crap positions . We lead 16 nil, we then go a hero play and Lehi gets bundled into touch. Api scores. Turnovers = tries against. Then comes the high shots. Dead set the Tigers blew 4 or 5 early chances. They actually could have led by 12 at half time.

Bottom line, whenever we play a game to put us in a strong ladder position, we f*ck it up as we don't turn up mentally.

Need to drop some players and get a tricker up nearly all of them. Simply not
Good enough

Gordon, burbo, koula aloaia need to be dropped with Garrick and ola. Put on notice

Thought brooks and dce were very ordinary tonight, that 15 year old Galvin thouroughly outplayed than. Embarrassing

Simpkin back in for croker, who was, is and will always be largely terrible, will more likely be for Gordon though,

Sipley in for aloai

Talau for koula

They didn’t even look like they wanted to play tonight, let alone win

Garrick is just ****. But I’m kinda used to that now, it was nice when he could at least kick goals

Jake needs to find his game again. He plays with no skill only heart and he used to have skill

Tom waited too long to impose himself. I saw him slow down with the ball to give the lesser lights a run.

I really wish the coaching staff would cut and paste some of our comments and relay them to the players. I would love them to hear and absorb how f* shattering performances like tonight are for the fans…, they’ll be too busy playing online games and checking their social media.

Next week's team based off that garbage;

1. Turbo
2. Garrick (Saab should have a week off due to the poo he just produced & Garrick is better on the wing)
3. Talau
4. Hopoate
5. Paulo or the young bloke (who's name escapes me)
6. Brooks
7. Dce
8. Paseka
9. Crocker
10. Sipley
11. Lawton
12. Huamole
13. Jake
14. Simpkin
15. Bullemore
16. Brown
17. Koula

I'm sorry but burbo, Gordon & waddell are all squadies who should only play a game here or there when we're desperate!

Our defence is nowhere near good enough and until we improve our defence we'll never go anywhere in this comp. That defensive problem is compounded by our all out attack philosophy that often results in massive swings of momentum either way or the other. Always try and attack our way out of it. It's always points mixed in with panic in equal measure.

What we would give for a half with composure and some linespeed in defence.

Gota say, did Seibold get us mentally prepared for this game. I noticed a lot of smiling faces by the team at the pre game warm up. Not a good sign.

Well the real Manly stood up tonight. Panic football, ill discipline, fumbling, bumbling, brain dead plays. They're experts at olympic class fuking up. That is just an

Olakau'atu had a bloody shocker. From losing our challenge in the opening minute to getting binned. How did this bloke get picked for Origin ? Then gets suspended when he didn't even play FFS. Just dumb !
