That's now 5 games ... FIVE GAMES ... in 2024 where we have had at least a 12 point lead, and given it up to lose.

From what I watched it was the referees game management that got the opposition back in that game from 16-0, the players didn’t help it with some poor discipline and ball handling.

Outside of Tom who else put in on the field?

We will get pummeled by the dogs I fear. It’ll then be just a matter of hoping we can show up against the sharks. I don’t like our chances in the finals even if we do manage to get there.

Doubt there are many games where Turbo scores a hat-rick and we still lose. When he’s in good form and fit most importantly he’s so obviously our best player. So the silver lining i’ll take out of a embarrassing performance is Turbo is fit and in good form.

Shame the rest of the team couldn’t go with him…

Disgusted. I really thought we had turned a corner after a decade of mediocrity and heartache. No. Gough’s performance aside, that was putrid. I’ve lost motivation to bother supporting this garbage anymore. Broke my heart tonight with that against triple wooden spooners and so much to play for.

Apart from a lot of dubious calls and sin binnings a plenty. We looked really vulnerable down the middle. Gordie cant give a decent pass and Croker looks cooked, even Jake has passed his used by date. Lodge needs to come in for Ailoi, to many bandages on him. Could go on. Thank god for Tom, without him it'd be embarrassing.

Actually, I need to clarify this a little. Turbo couldn’t get us over the line by himself against top 4 quality sides in 2021. Tonight showed us he can’t get us across the triple spooners, let alone quality teams.

We don't deserve to play finals footy and are still many years away from doing anything in the NRL

I think Simpkin for GKCT. They rolled through us in the middle when Crocker was off. When he came back on we stiffened our defence up again.

I agree with you there, though come Saturday morning when they are watching video of their performances instead of getting a day off there will be 16 embarrassed footballers watching that tape.

I’ve been dreading this dogs game for weeks. Just hate the matchup. They are everything we aren’t. Elite defensive side, control the ruck and scramble there butts off for 80 minutes. Off the back of there defense they are now getting into good attacking form too the last few weeks. Have a feeling that Sharks game is going to be very very important.

We invited trouble by playing a hap hazard scatter gun game that invited the Tigers back into it. The ref was wearing Orange and Black yes BUT we opened the door for them.

Got everything we deserved. We never learn. Why bother getting mad about it anymore

Gordies ball distribution was poor for the second week running, Don’t think he makes the 17 next week.
